Details on what to bring for the Cottage
Westermill Farm Holiday Cottages

Please read before you sign and date booking form, any question just ask.

Bedding.
All the cottages have under-blankets and continental quilts. (these are all changed between tenants). Please bring one under sheet and two pillow cases per bed. Towels and tea towels are not provided but we do supply oven and dish cloths. Linen can be hired if needed. Molinia needs a large sheet for the bed downstairs.

Cots and High Chairs
These are available, please book. Also baby sitting can be arranged.

Shop
We have a small shop on site open from Spring bank holiday, selling milk and bread etc. also meat from the farm for your BBQ or to take home.Our own Aberdeen Angus Beef, Lamb and Pork.

Extra Equipment.
To add to your enjoyment we recommend you bring a torch, binoculars and wellington boots.

Wood Burners
All the cottages have wood burners except Holly and the Farmhouse Wing, Wood is available from the farm all year. It is cut from trees in an Enviromentally sustainable and sensitive way.

Terms and Conditions

1. Arrival and departure: usually a booking is from Saturday to Saturday, although short breaks are available from November to March. In order to prepare the cottages between hirers, we ask that you arrive after 3.30pm and leave by 10.am on your departure date unless pre-arranged before hand. Before leaving the cottage it must be cleaned and rubbish put out and left in a condition that you found it or would like to find it in.

2. A non-refundable deposit of £80 per cottage per week is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable on arrival If you have been before or 2 weeks prior to arrival if it is your first visit to Westermill.
(cheques made payable to "Westermill Farm Ltd" ).

3. If you have to cancel please inform us immediately and we will endeavour to re-let the cottage(s). If this is not possible, all monies which have been paid or are due will be forfeited.
Therefore, a CANCELLATION PROTECTION INSURANCE IS RECOMMENDED.

4. Following your booking, in the unlikely event of your cottage(s) becoming unavailable due to circumstances outside our control, every effort will be made to provide an alternative cottage or cottages at Westermill Farm or a complete refund will be paid including the deposit.

5. The number of persons and pets occupying the cottages must not exceed that stated on the Booking Form, unless agreed previously with the owners.

6. Well behaved, fully house-trained pets are welcome, but must not be allowed on the furniture or left unattended in the cottage. Please do not let them foul the cottage fields. Please bring your own dog's bed, dishes and towel.

7. Grazing is normally available for visiting horses, but the Edwards family reserve the right to withdraw grazing when necessary to preserve the condition of the fields.

8. The Edwards family reserve the right to have access to the cottages at all reasonable times, with prior notice whenever possible.

9. The Edwards family cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to Hirers’ property, or for personal injury, or damage to cars or horseboxes/trailers parked at Westermill Farm.

10. The Edwards family endeavour to maintain high standards of comfort and cleanliness at all times. The Hirer must therefore undertake to keep all furniture, fittings and effects in the same good condition as they were found. The Cottage(s) must be left clean and tidy before you leave. If we have to clean them a fee could be charged.

11. The Edwards family reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage howsoever caused.

12. Children. as with dogs should be kept under control. They should not be allowed on the farm walks without adult supervision.
