Westermill Farm / Molinia Cottage

Molinia is one of our larger cottages and can sleep up to 8 people. It stands in a secluded corner in the same paddock as Bracken cottage with a grass area in front. Beside the cottages runs a shallow stream.

Molinia cottage is named after a moorland grass, and is situated in the same paddock as Bracken cottage. It has a small porch with wall hooks, with a door leading into the living area.

The living area consists of a comfy green sofa, with two tv style chairs with wooden arms. There is a pine table, with farmhouse style chairs, and a bench seat situated underneath the window. There is a tv with a video recorder, plus a wood burning stove.

There is a separate, well equipped kitchen with hand built pine units. It has an electric oven, microwave and fridge. The small downstairs bedroom has a 4ft double bed, with en suite wet room that has a shower with shower curtain, a fold down seat, wash basin and loo, with well positioned hand rails.

Upstairs, the two bedrooms are in a family room style. They both have two 3ft beds together and a third 2ft6in bed. All the furniture is pine, with carpeted floors. The west bedroom has a full length mirror. The second bathroom consists of a bath, loo, and vanity basin, with lino flooring. Both bathrooms have heated towel rails and dimplex wall heaters.
